The unique way of creating a new website for the designer is biggest challenge among competitors around the world. Some of them are using different approaches on their own way to approach the target audience. In recent days, the common expectation of client for the website is to be “Neat, Clean & Professional”. According to this concept, the modern design involves trendy layouts, Sans-Serif fonts, sleek interface, intuitive navigation bars and High Quality images etc.

Essentials of a web page Layout:

The Home Page design to be very simple and user-friendly. We can split the layout into two folds, Above and Below the fold.

     

Above the Fold:

• Clean Logo at perfect fit.
• Clear navigation or a simple hamburger menu in header.
• Business related banner images.
• The headline on banner should be the company`s mission or vision statement.
• The description under this is sub-headline which explains what does the company offer.
• Call to action / Button.

     Below the Fold:

• Precised welcome text.
• Featured services with short description and call to action.
• Highlighted contents such as subscription or updates if needed.
• Customer Testimonials or Success stories.
• Social media updates or latest blog.
• In addition, events, announcements or tips etc.
• Classic footer.

Tips for Designing Layout:

• Header should be catchy and attractive.
• In modern websites, we use video banners and vector characters which explains the whole business in an efficient way to users as well as the clients.
• Avoid using long paragraphs rather than the description could be short and precise.
• Use creative icons or high quality images for services section.
• If you are designing ecommerce or promotion websites, then add some ad banners or posts in middle part of the site.
• Also try some fancy fonts for highlighting the headings and unique / professional fonts for description.
•  Make sure that the color should be blended with the concept and logo.
• The resolution of the website while designing is higher than usual. For example, If the normal resolution is 72 pixels, we can use 150 pixels for high resolution. It looks pixel perfect for all size pc`s.Maintain the theme consistency for over all pages.
• While redesigning the website, make sure that theme, flow and updates only have to change and design content and concept should not move out of the flow.
• Try quotation form, contact form or subscription fields in visible position especially in header or least above footer.
• Show quick links in footer which will help the user to move other pages without scrolling.
• Insert chat option and social media icons which facilitates the user to view the promotions and offers in media marketing sites.
• Find place for the client/customer testimonials, success stories, recent news, latest blogs etc.
• Also include awards, certifications, partner/affiliates logos in the bottom of footer.
• Apart from this, the important thing in website is call to actions or links. This is not only helpful for navigating to other pages but also improves the eagerness to know about the detailed description of the services.
